THE VISION

An Artisan Collective of Enchanted Goods

The Coven began with two witches who loved making things with their hands. What began as a passion project has evolved into something more.

We started by creating our own little pieces of magick—jewelry, art, curiosities, and things that simply made us happy. And, like any maker who falls in love with what they’ve created, we wanted to share them with the world.

But somewhere along the way, something unexpected happened.

We started finding each other.

We met artists and makers who were creating beautiful, strange, whimsical, and wonderful things of their own. People making from kitchen tables, spare rooms, garages, studios, and little corners of the world. People who loved what they made but didn’t always have a place, the time, or the resources to share it.

And we realized:

There were so many of us.

So The Coven became more than two witches making things.

It became a place to gather.

WHAT OUR COVEN BELIEVES IN

✦ HANDMADE OVER MASS-MADE

We celebrate the human touch—the little imperfections, experiments, details, and stories that make handmade work worth holding onto.

✦ COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION

There is more magick when makers have a place to support, celebrate, and champion one another.

✦ MAKE ROOM FOR THE UNEXPECTED

We welcome the unusual, the whimsical, the folkloric, the curious, and the wonderfully weird.

✦ CURATED WITH CARE

The Coven isn’t meant to carry everything. We thoughtfully select the artists and creations we represent to create a collection that feels cohesive, intentional, and distinctly ours.

✦ TAKE THE SCENIC ROUTE

We’re not interested in rushing toward the next big thing. We’re here for the winding paths, unexpected discoveries, local communities, and stories along the way.

✦ LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN

We especially want to create opportunities for BIPOC, women, LGBTQIA+, and emerging or non-established artists who may not always have easy access to traditional retail and market spaces.

Allies are welcome, too. What matters is that the work aligns with the spirit and values of The Coven.

WHERE WE’RE GOING—

What started with two witches making things together is becoming something bigger.

Today, The Coven is a small traveling collective.

Tomorrow, we hope it becomes a growing community of independent makers whose work can reach new audiences without each artist having to shoulder the entire burden of retail on their own.

More makers.

More markets.

More collaborations.

More workshops.

More opportunities to discover something handmade.

And someday, perhaps, a place of our own—a physical home where artists, makers, curious souls, and wandering witches can gather under one roof.

Until then, we’ll keep packing the car, setting up the tables, lighting the lanterns, and following the road to wherever the next gathering calls us.

WE’RE STILL BEING CONJURED.

Come wander with us

A PLACE TO SHARE WHAT YOU MAKE

We know that making something and selling something are two very different things.

A market can mean booth fees, hauling inventory, setting up displays, standing behind a table for hours, processing payments, talking to customers, packing everything back up, and doing it all over again the next weekend.

For some artists, that’s part of the fun.

For others, it’s the thing keeping them from participating at all.

We want to create another option.

A way for independent makers to have their work represented, discovered, and sold without having to do every part of the selling themselves.

    You make the things.

We’ll help them find their people.

YOU MAKE THE MAGIC. WE’LL CARRY IT.

The Coven is a curated, traveling artisan collective built around a simple idea:

Artists should get to spend more time creating and less time figuring out how to sell what they create.

We gather handmade creations from independent artists and makers and bring them together under one roof—then carry that collection wherever the road takes us.

    Markets. Pop-ups. Festivals. Gatherings.

Wherever curious people gather, we’ll bring a little something with us.

Our makers get to keep creating.

We get to do the wandering.

    A SHOP WITHOUT FOUR WALLS

We don’t believe handmade goods need to live behind the same four walls.

The Coven is intentionally a little nomadic.

Our shop might be a beautifully dressed booth beneath a canopy, a table tucked into a local market, a pop-up surrounded by trees, or someday, perhaps, a space of our own.

Wherever we go, we create a little world for people to step into—a place to discover something unexpected, meet the makers behind it, and take home a little piece of handmade magick.

    MORE THAN A MARKET

At its heart, The Coven isn’t just about selling things.

    It’s about creating opportunities.

We want to help independent artists:

    BE SEEN

By new audiences who might never have found them otherwise.

    BE DISCOVERED

By bringing different artists, mediums, and creative disciplines together in one curious little world.

    BE SUPPORTED

By helping makers turn their craft into meaningful income without requiring them to shoulder the entire burden of running a market themselves.

    BELONG

By creating a community where artists can celebrate and support one another rather than compete for the same limited spaces.

    KEEP MAKING

Because we’d rather see artists spending their time at their workbench, easel, sewing machine, kiln, studio, or kitchen table than spending every weekend figuring out how to sell it.
